At age six, Ivy Fox, was escorted to her first dance class at Marie Watts Dance Studio in Baltimore, Maryland, by her dancer/choreographer, mother, Mrs. Betty L. Fox. Ivy danced with the New Shiloh Baptist Church Dancers founded by her mother and recieved additional training with Wally Saunders, Peabody Conservatory, Towson State University Summer Job Program.
Fox graduated from Forest Park High School, danced with Ava Fields and the Eubie Blake Center. She recieved further study at Point Park University, Pittsburg, PA, with Doug Bentz, Mary Petrov, Ron Tassone and Extensions Dance Company then transferred to The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York, NY where she studied with Miguel Godreaux, Delores Brown, Denise Jefferson, Anna Marie Forsyth, Carol Freed and graduated from the Ailey Certifcate Program.
Miss Fox, was immediately signed by Walt Disney World as an Epcot World Dancer and shortly thereafter sang on mic for the first time when she appeared as a Kid of The Kingdom performer. At Disney World she appeared with Ben Vereen, Donny Osmond, Maureen McGovern and Rosemary Clooney. Fox also performed as a Special Event Dancer at DisneyLand, Tokyo, Japan.

Fox moved on to Casa Manana, Fort Worth, Texas, where she earned her Actor's Equity card performing Annie Get Your Gun with Ruta Lee, Anything Goes with Van Johnson, Carousel, A Chorus Line. Ms. Fox then perfomed as a principle dancer with Dallas Black Dance Company, Dallas, Tx, Westside Story European Tour (u/s Anita), Buffy in Starlight Express Germany (Cast Recording, u/s Pearl), Sound in Motion (Dusseldorf, Germany), They're Playing Our Song with Jack Wagner and Lorna Patterson, Long Beach, CA., The Flintstone Show - Universal Studios, Los Angeles, Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast (Original Los Angeles Company), Beauty and the Beast National Tour (u/s Babette), Ain't Misbehaven (Charlene) Bochum, Germany, Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular (x4 featured singer/dancer), Hercules Disney Special, Starring Micheal Bolton and Susan Egan, On The Town (Public Theater, New York, NY). Ragtime National Tour, Damn Yankees, Brigadoon, Ragtime (Sacramento Music Circus), Kiss Me Kate National Tour (u/s Bianca).
In the Chicago - Cell Block National Tour, Fox appeared as Annie (u/s Velma Kelly, Matron Mama Morton), and worked with stars such as Obba Babatunde, John O'Hurley, Lisa Rena, Robin Givens, George Hamilton and understudied Patti Labelle, Melba Moore, Roz Ryan and Carol Woods. The company also performed in Taiwan, Japan, Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Aarb of Emirates at the Emirates Palace.

Ms. Fox has appeared in industrials for G. H Bass Shoes (Florida), Chrystal Lite (Chicago), Delco Batteries (Florida), Wilsonart (Texas), Tupperware (Florida), Equitable Life Insurance (Hawaii, London), Prudential Life Insurance (London - Royal Albert Hall).
Ms. Fox also dedicates time to serve her community by working with youth, feeding the poor and raising money for HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. As a teacher/choreographer Fox lends services to Ava Fields working with girls 6-16 years of age (two summers and counting).
Additionally, Fox choreograghed a work for Dance Baltimore (ages 15-45 non-dancers) at the Baltimore Museum of Art, instructed Master Classes in Detroit, MI, and was an official Master Class Instructor for the Walt Disney World Summer Program.
